Start Racing course takes you through the fundamentals of getting off the start line and round the course, introducing the basic skills needed to enter your first race or have fun with friends.

Ballyholme Yacht Club is inviting you and your family to come and try sailing and powerboating for free on Monday, 6 May 2024.
This 2-day weekend course will set out the foundations of sailing for you.
All sailing will be done in a dinghy such as our Laser Bahias, RS Fevas, Picos or Lasers.
You will learn rigging, launching, sailing in all directions, capsize recovery and essential safety knowledge.
This 2 day course will introduce you to sailing with all you need to know to get afloat under supervision
