Discover Sailing Day – May 4th 2026

Join us at Ballyholme Yacht Club for Discover Sailing Day, a fantastic opportunity to experience the thrill of sailing and watersports in a fun, welcoming environment. Whether you’re a complete beginner or just looking to try something new, this is the perfect day out for individuals and families alike. The event runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm, with one-hour taster sessions in Dinghy Sailing (8+), Paddleboarding (10+), and Powerboating (12+) — all equipment and expert instruction included.

Tickets are great value at just £5 for adults and £10 for a family (2 adults + children under 18), giving you access to your chosen activity on the water. We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before your session for registration and getting changed. After your time on the water, stick around for food, drinks, and a relaxed social with fellow participants.
