Ballyholme Yacht Club offers RYA-accredited wingsurfing courses for all abilities, from complete beginners to those looking to progress to wingfoiling. Following the RYA WINGsurfing scheme, our qualified instructors will guide you through everything from flying the wing safely on the beach to getting confidently afloat at your own pace in a fun, supportive environment.

We Provide
Adult Wingsurfing Stage 1
New to wingsurfing? Stage 1 is the perfect starting point. This introductory RYA course is split into two parts first you’ll learn to fly the wing safely on land, then take those skills onto the water. By the end you’ll be able to control the wing, get moving on the board, and travel across the wind and back. No previous experience needed just a sense of adventure.

Youth Wingsurfing Stage 1
Got a young thrill-seeker on your hands? Our RYA Youth Wingsurfing Stage 1 course is designed to get kids and teens onto the water and having fun fast. Following the RYA Youth Wing scheme, young sailors will learn to fly the wing on the beach before taking to the water on the board building confidence, balance and skills in a safe and supportive environment. A brilliant first step into one of the most exciting watersports around.
