Apologies for the late congratulations but very well done to Ballyholme’s Hannah Dadley-Young last weekend at the Irish Topper Nationals at RNIYC.

We’ve watched Hannah for 5 years from her first summer on sailing courses age 8 to her first event in SLYC with a double reefed 4.2 sail through the Topper Worlds in 2016 and now in 2019,

... she is IRISH “LADIES” TOPPER CHAMPION beating all of the GBR squad girls as well.

Sixth overall, and still a Junior (under 14).

Check out our new website for the 2020 Laser Radial Youth European Championships which will be happening at BYC this time next year.
Many thanks to EurILCA and Ross Johnston for their help so far, and to Ross Parker and Elmhouse Creative for the Event Logo.
The same event has just finished in Greece with 370 boats competing - hopefully we can attract just as many next year.

Due to staff holidays from 8th - 14th July, the office will be unmanned this week.

The club is open of course with a RYA Youth Stage 1&2 course all week, normal club racing and the Copeland Islands picnic on Friday 12th July.

Telephone messages will be checked periodically over the working week.
