Junior Coaching will commence on Saturdays from 7th February – 28th March 2026
13:30 – 16:00

TIMINGS FOR SAILING:

Arrive before 1:30, Rigged and ready to Launch 2:00

There are 3 options for Training Tickets

Option 1 £60 – Cubes (Club Boat) – BYC Member

Option 2 – £40 Toppers (Own boat) Beginner – BYC Member

Option 3 – £40 Toppers (Own boat) Intermediate – BYC Member

Sailors must have RYA Stage 3 or above

Timings

13.30 – Arrival on site, get ready, and rig your boat

16.00 – Wrapping up after an action-packed day

Sailors to pack

Appropriate Sailing kit (wetsuit, spray top, boots, buoyancy aid, swimming costume, towel)

Your boat, fully prepped and ready for a training session

Snacks, drinks, and a packed lunch to fuel you throughout the day

Warm clothes for before and after the training

Pen and notepad for any notes, racing watch and cap

Pro Tips

Hydrate and snack up! (We’ll be on the water, so you’ll want to stay fuelled up.)

Even if the skies are cloudy, keep the sunblock and cap on hand—you’ll thank us later.

Changing rooms and showers are available to freshen up.

For boats without a current berthing arrangement at Ballyholme Yacht Club, berthing will be available at £20 per month by arrangement with the Club Office.
