The BYC ‘Discover Sailing’ Open Day gives everyone – members of the public and club members alike –  the opportunity to try different watersports by booking supervised taster sessions in sailing and power boating. Whether you’re completely new to the sport or looking to get back on the water, this is a great opportunity to give it a go.

Equipment including wetsuits and buoyancy aids are provided for guests and information about other clothing and equipment you might need is provided on the registration page. For the hungry, hot dogs and burgers can be purchased at our barbeque stand and the bar will be open.

Registration (free) is required and spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis on the club website. Age restrictions are shown in the details section for each watersport. Register here.
