Each Saturday Morning from the start of May until the end of August is Sharks, a coaching session for cadets with their own boats between the ages of 9 and above holding an RYA Stage 3 or higher.
Coaching is led by experience sailors with coaching experience from BYC who are focused on tracking an individuals skills and helping them improve on the water.
The coaching sessions are flexible and tailored to the group’s pace and availability. They cover various aspects of sailing, including boat handling in different wind strengths, speed work and racing strategies. The goal is to make intermediate sailors more proficient and confident in handling a dinghy in various conditions and scenarios on a race course.
Each week will focus on a different skills and techniques so please come along and join in the fun.
