Improvers is a group set up to do exactly what it says on the tin- help you improve.
We have been running over Saturday afternoons and Wednesday evenings at different times in the year.
Mike Kimber and Mickey Forbes lead the coaching – this is quality stuff from experienced sailors. We start with a pre-sail briefing, then head out on the water to sail, supported by the coaches alongside in the rib.
We have a number of Topper and ILCA/Laser boats out in the water with a big mix of age groups getting involved.
In addition to the Improvers training sessions, a couple of the guys have taken advantage of a focused sailing week in Valencia. This was a big experience, with those who attended coming back feeling much more comfortable and confident in the water.
We have a WhatsApp group that runs and helps with firming up arrangements.
