Saturday 28th January 2022

Sprint races for Toppers, Lasers / ILCAs, Large & Small Dinghies and Catamarans.

It is hoped we can get 6 W/L races completed. 1 x discard will be applied after completion of race 4.

First gun at 13:45.

Briefing in patio area to rear of Cadet Room at 1300.

ALL sailors must register online and complete sign out (on day) prior to going to sea. Failure to do so will render the sailor(s) DSQ .

The closing time for registrations is 4 p.m. on Friday 27th January 2022.

£5 entry fee for all sailors.

BALLYHOLME YACHT CLUB DONATES TO BANGOR RNLI

Bangor RNLI was delighted to receive a cheque for £1,440 from Ballyholme Yacht Club, the proceeds from their Boxing Day swim and events held over Christmas.
Seen here is Club Commodore Rob Milligan, presenting the cheque to Bangor RNLI Lifeboat Operations Manager Bryan Lawther, accompanied by volunteer crew members Jack Irwin, John Bell and Joanne Heasley, and former Lifeboat Operations Manager, Kevin Byers.
Rob said “Ballyholme Yacht Club is going from strength to strength, with open water swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and wind surfing added to the water sports we offer. At all times our members remember how lucky we are to have a local lifeboat station to call on should anything go wrong, and this donation is just our way of thanking them.”
