RETURN TO RACING UNDER COVID-19
Club Points Racing makes a return to Tuesday from 4th August. Racing will be for: Slow Handicap Dinghies, Fast Handicap Dinghies, Multihulls and Lasers only. We must ensure social distancing, particularly on the slipway.
TUESDAY FIRST GUN 19.00HRS
SUNDAY FIRST GUN 14.24HRS
Racing will be for single handed boats and double handed boats crewed by members of the same household. Please arrive in plenty of time to avoid crowding at the last minute. The changing rooms will not be available.
We will be running with the minimum number of race management volunteers and a slightly simpler flag system – so please read the Sailing Instructions. These instructions will be updated as the situation evolves and we can get back to full normal(ish) racing.
In any event it is up to the participant to individually access their own risk in taking part in Club Racing at present. We are very exposed to public view at Ballyholme so to avoid any negative feedback please use common sense when in the dinghy park and be Conservative and Considerate in your sailing.
Hand sanitiser is available at various points in the dinghy park and at the battery – please use it.
