RYA YOUTH SAILING SCHEME – STAGE 3

4th July – 8th July 2022 13.45 – 17.00

This course will be run across five half days.

It will deliver a range of skills including rigging, launching and recovery, sailing techniques, capsize recovery, sailing theory and sailing in any direction.

Assumed Knowledge

Up to and including Stage 2 standard

Minimum Age: 8

After the course

Able to launch and sail a dinghy around a triangle in moderate conditions

All applicable RYA books and logbooks are included.

We do not provide footwear, sailors will require wetsuit shoes or boots or a pair of old trainers. Please ensure you have water and a snack as well as sunscreen and a cap.

Changing rooms & showers are available for limited numbers. Please read the changing facilities guidelines here.
