 RYA YOUTH SAILING SCHEME – Stage 1

Monday 25th July – Tuesday 26th July 9.30 – 17.00

This course will be run across two full days. No prior experience required

Minimum Age: 8

Content of the course

Launching and recovery, steering, parts of the boat, basic sailing.

Ability after the course

Able to steer and understand basic principles.

Non-Members- £160

Please note there is a non-refundable administrative charge of £1.50 applied to each transaction.

All applicable RYA books and logbooks are included.

We can provide a wetsuit, spray-jacket and buoyancy aid, however we do not provide footwear, sailors will require wetsuit shoes or boots or a pair of old trainers. Please ensure you have water and a snack or two and lunch.

Please note even on cloudy days sunblock is recommended so please ensure you bring sunscreen and a cap.

Changing rooms & showers are available.
