RYA YOUTH SAILING SCHEME – INTERMEDIATE RACING

MONDAY 19th JULY – FRIDAY 23rd JULY  9.00am – 12.15pm

These courses are open to BYC members only until Wednesday 30th June at 4.30pm, after which time non members can book

This course will be run across five half days.

About the Course

This course builds on the knowledge and skills learnt from ‘Start Racing’, developing greater awareness of the key principles of starting, boat handling, boat speed, strategy and tactics, through course time and regular activity

Assumed Knowledge

It is assumed that the sailor will have completed the Start Racing Course and will have participated in some club racing.

After the Course

Have the confidence and skill to participate in club level racing and be able to understand better the strategy and tactics required.
