DISCOVER SAILING AT Ballyholme Yacht Club

Looking for a new way to get outdoors and get active? Trying to find something you can enjoy together as a family?  Want some fun and adventure?

If your answers are yes, Ballyholme Yacht Club is inviting you and your family to come and try sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding and powerboating for free on Monday, 2 May 2022.

Whether you’re completely new to the sport or looking to get back on the water, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a go.

“There is lots of fun to be had out on the water this summer and our Discover Sailing event is a great way for people to come along and literally dip their toes in the water”, commented Aaron McConnell, BYC Club Manager.

“Everyone is invited to come down and have a go and see what the Ballyholme Yacht Club has to offer. Who knows, you might just get hooked!”

Starting at 9.30, on Monday 2nd of May there will be a whole host of activities taking place, all of them bookable via website. The age restrictions are shown in the details section of each ticket.

What to bring:

If the weather isn’t very warm a windproof coat would be beneficial.

Please bring a towel and warm spare clothes to change back into (particularly if you are bringing children), sun hat and sun screen.

No black sole shoes, flip-flops/crocs – old lace-up trainers with non-marking soles are to be worn.

There will be changing facilities on-site (if you need to borrow the kit please arrive 30 minutes prior to the session).

There will be a bar available, and hot dogs and burgers can be purchased at our barbeque stand.

Please note all our activities are weather dependant.
