Last month Ruan O’Tiarnaigh from BYC travelled to Italy to meet with members of Andora Nautical Club to strengthen the bond which our two clubs have established over the years.
He gave a short speech on behalf of Aidan Pounder which is written below.

To President Giovanni Bencivenga and Vice President Ambrogio Gagliolo, on behalf of the members and committee of the Ballyholme Yacht Club and for my part also, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you both every success in your new roles as President and Vice President of the Andora Nautical Club. I hope that during this time, the twinning between our two clubs will continue to strengthen with friendships and experiences in sailing and in life! Please accept these pennants as a sign of our friendship and I invite you to come and visit us as soon as possible. Yours in sailing, Aidan Pounder, Commodore, Ballyholme Yacht Club.
