A great turn out for this week’s JIB with 23 boats on the water.

Wind was NW 5-8 knots and warmer, nearly spring-like, conditions.

Feva NI weekend training joined in with seven Fevas racing in total. Three tight races with a variety of leaders.
In the Toppers, Charlie provided encouragement and tips throughout the races with Matthew dominating with three race wins. Rebecca is improving on her beating and boat handling skills.
In the cube/topper novice fleet, Greta in 4.2 has greatly improved her upwinds and seems to be enjoying sailing against her peers. Jasper is working hard to improve his boat handling skills around marks and with his tacks and gybes.
It’s great to see so many cadets turning up to get time on the water and improve their skills over the winter months. Thanks to all the volunteers – rescue, shore, Committee boat and to the cadets that helped pull the yak out at low tide.
