ILCA 6 Youth European Championships – Day 6

Day 6 of racing at the ILCA 6 Youth European Championships has come to a close, find out the results, where to view photos and see where our local sailors are sitting in the rankings.

The sixth and final day of the ILCA 6 European Youth Championships 2024 has come to a close. With the sun shining and wind speeds between 11 and 24 knots, the conditions made for a great final 3 races across the different fleets.

The final podiums were as follows:

We have been proudly watching all of our local sailors as they compete against hundreds of competitors from all over the world. They have successfully powered through a challenging 6 day event, sailed in every different weather condition thrown their way this week and navigated the largest starting line up’s Belfast Lough has ever seen. It has been a challenging week and we are incredible proud of all they have achieved. This event has been excellent experience for all of them and will stand them in good stead for future competition. We are excited to watch how they grow and progress from here as they move forward in their future sailing endeavours!
