4 DAY – SUMMER REFRESHER Level 1 + 2 JULY 2025

Get ready to sail into the season with confidence at our Summer Refresher Course, designed specifically for sailors who have completed Stages 1 and 2 or need support to gain this qualification.

Whether you’re returning to the water after a windy winter or looking for a bit of extra support, this course is the perfect opportunity to boost your skills and build your confidence.

This week’s course is tailored to help sailors refresh their knowledge, revisit key skills, and ensure you’re ready to progress to the next level.

If you’ve completed Stages 1 and 2 but want to solidify your understanding or simply gain some additional practice before moving onto your stage 3 + 4 course, our coaching team is here to support you every step of the way.

Timings

09:30 – Arrival on site, get ready, and rig your boat

16:30 – Wrapping up after an action-packed day

Sailors to pack

If you have your RYA logbook please bring it.

Appropriate Sailing kit (wetsuit, spray top, boots, buoyancy aid, swimming costume, towel)

If you don’t have sailing kit don’t worry we have you covered! Please bring a spare pair of trainers you don’t mind getting wet!

(for safety reasons no wellies, crocs or flip flops please! pack your swimming costume and towel)

Your boat, fully prepped and ready for a training session (unless using a club boat)

Snacks, drinks, and a packed lunch to fuel you throughout the day

Warm clothes for before and after the training

Pen and notepad for any notes, racing watch and cap (if applicable)

Pro Tips

Hydrate and snack up! (We’ll be on the water, so you’ll want to stay fuelled up.)

Even if the skies are cloudy, keep the sunblock and cap on hand—you’ll thank us later.

Changing rooms and showers are available to freshen up.
