Social Sailing – Saturday afternoons

We are delighted to announce that Social Sailing commences for 2019.  It will run from 1400 to 1600 hrs.

Open to all members with a level of competency of RYA Level 2 or better, Saturday Social Sailing is an opportunity to get time on the water with the benefit of a safety boat on hand.  There is no formal instruction.  If this changes, we will let you know.

This activity is therefore open to members with their own boats.  Club boats will be available to hire for this activity subject to an instructor being available

Please pre-register by 1pm on the preceding Wednesday if you’re looking to hire a club boat.

If the weather is deemed unsuitable for sailing, the call will be made by midday Saturday and a post will be put on the Members Group on Facebook.

Saturday, June 22nd due to BYC Regatta and Centenary Celebrations

Saturday, June 29th due to RUYC Regatta

Saturday, July 20th due to Cockle Island Regatta

Saturday, August 24th due to ILA event at BYC
