Sea Swim Saturday 19th December

Pre Christmas Sea Swim – Saturday 19th December @10AM

The event is for Ballyholme Yacht club members only, kayak and SUP rescue support will be present during the event. The water temperature is currently between 6-8 degrees Celsius.

You must have your own tow float and brightly coloured hat to be able to take part.

Although current guidelines allow more than 15 participants, social distancing must be observed and we would ask that only swimmers and rescue volunteers to be on site.

No changing facilities are currently available within the clubhouse and everyone entering the water must take appropriate steps to change afterwards. 

We would ask you to please read the guidelines carefully before you book or arrive at BYC and please check them before making future visits as they will be periodically updated with the latest information.

Events will only continue as long as guidelines and law is adhered to. We cannot stress enough the importance of social distancing and personal responsibility.

Please do not attend BYC if you, or anyone in your household, are feeling unwell or experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or you have come in to contact with someone who has tested positive within the last 14 days.
