Scouts Taster to Sailing – BYC

Ballyholme Yacht Club looks forward to welcoming the Scouts on 3rd April 2025 for an evening session on the water.

Session will take place from 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Entry Information

Sailors to pack

Appropriate Sailing kit (wetsuit, spray top, boots, buoyancy aid, swimming costume, towel)

If you dont have sailing kit don’t worry we have you covered! Please bring a spare pair of trainers you don’t mind getting wet!

(for safety reasons no wellies, crocs or flip flops please! pack your swimming costume and towel)

Snacks, drinks, to fuel you

Warm clothes for before and after the training

Pro Tips

Hydrate and snack up! (We’ll be on the water, so you’ll want to stay fuelled up.)

Even if the skies are cloudy, keep the sunblock and cap on hand—you’ll thank us later.

Changing rooms and showers are available to freshen up.
