Open Water Training Swim
This Monday 12th April @ 6.30PM & 7.15PM
We are holding two training swims on Monday night, the first session will be for a 1500M swim and the second a 750M swim.
The event is for Ballyholme Yacht club members only, kayak and SUP rescue support will be present during the event.
You must have your own tow float and brightly coloured hat to be able to take part.
Guidelines from Monday 12th will allow for 15 participants, but this includes on water rescue and shore support, places are limited to 10 per swim. Social distancing must be observed at all times and only swimmers and rescue volunteers to be on site. Strictly no spectators.
No changing facilities are not currently available within the clubhouse and everyone entering the water must take appropriate steps to change afterwards.
We would ask you to please read the guidelines carefully before you book or arrive at BYC and please check them before making future visits as they will be periodically updated with the latest information.
Events will only continue as long as guidelines and law is adhered to. We cannot stress enough the importance of social distancing and personal responsibility.
Please do not attend BYC if you, or anyone in your household, are feeling unwell or experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or you have come in to contact with someone who has tested positive within the last 10 days.
