Our first Women on Water session set sail yesterday evening and what a beautiful evening it was! 🌅⛵

We were thrilled to welcome 8 participants to the water, bringing together a fantastic mix of experiences, from complete beginners, active keelboat sailors, to club racers, you name it!

Our brilliant instructor team, Hannah, Greta, and Sandra, kicked the evening off by sharing their own journeys in the sport and guiding everyone through boat rigging and on the water skills. Whether it was your first time holding a tiller or just brushing up your skills, the atmosphere was fun, friendly, and full of encouragement.

Afterwards, we rounded off the evening with a tipple at the bar and some tasty nibbles, plenty of laughs and great conversation included!

Come and join us next Wednesday for more time on the water, new experiences and the opportunity to meet members and new faces too! 💬✨

A great night! Thank you to Kate and all the instructors. We were completely new to this and were made feel so welcome. No pressure, just other women encouraging us to love the water as much as they do.

What an incredible day we had on our Discover Sailing Day! ☀️⛵

The sun was shining, the breeze was perfect, and the energy around the club was buzzing! From paddleboarding adventures with Robbie, to action packed powerboats with Stephen and Rob, and plenty of sailing fun led by our awesome instructor team, it was non-stop fun on the water.

A massive shoutout to our shore and registration team who helped make the day run smoothly, whether it was setting up, manning the slipway, firing up the BBQ, or keeping the tea flowing, we couldn’t have done it without you!

It was fantastic to welcome so many new faces to the club and see everyone mingling with our current members. The day wrapped up perfectly with everyone enjoying delicious BBQ food and drinks from the bar, all while taking in those stunning bay views.

Thanks to everyone who came along and made the day so special, we hope to see you all again on the water soon!
