RYA Powerboat Level 2 course 13th-14th July 2024

The RYA Powerboat Level 2 course provides the skills and background knowledge needed by a competent powerboat driver and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence.

After completing the course you will be self-sufficient in handling a powerboat in the right conditions, aware of your own limitations and those of your craft.

Minimum age to attend course is 12 and under 17s will receive an endorsed certificate.

You will need to bring a passport sized photograph of yourself for your certificate when you attend the course.

Previous Experience

No experience required; Level 1 doesn’t need to be completed before Level 2

What to bring

Warm clothes; jumpers, hat, gloves etc

Waterproofs (You will not need to enter the water)

Welly boots or old trainers you don’t mind getting wet

Lifejacket/buoyancy aid (if you do not own one we can provide one)

A passport sized photograph of yourself for your certificate
